Located within the triangle formed by Brisbane, Ipswich and the Gold Coast, Greater Springfield is the State's fastest growing area. Its location on the Centenary Highway means that it provides access to the growing population living South West of Brisbane.

It is located 40 minutes from Brisbane on the Centenary Highway, and 12 minutes from Ipswich along the Augusta Parkway. Directly accessible from the Centenary highway connects with the Logan and Ipswich motorways, enabling easy access to Brisbane and Ipswich. The Ipswich Motorway connects with the centenary highway for an alternate route to Brisbane and its Southern Suburbs.

The site is at Augusta Parkway, approximately 2 kilometres west of the new Orion Shopping and Entertainment Centre. Orion will be one of the largest retail centres in Queensland when completed.
